MGBCE is designed to build awareness of the benefits of green building in Southern California. Every year this event provides important networking and education opportunities that help advance green building in our region. This year’s event features a substantial menu of dynamic speakers and panel presentations, including a keynote by David Gottfried, co-founder of the U. S. Green Building Council and the World Green Building Council speaking from his recently published book, Greening My Life. Noted architect Eric Corey Freed, a practitioner of organic architecture in the style of Frank Lloyd Wright, will serve to closeout the event with his usual stirring presentation. In between, a spate of panels ranging from a discussion of California Governor Jerry Brown’s environmental agenda to a report from the Metropolitan Water District’s Blue Ribbon Committee will be presented throughout the day
