Bikerowave: How to Ride to Work Workshop
Bikerowave, your local local not for profit bicycle repair and teaching cooperative is launching a series of classes. Have you ever wanted to learn how to put your chain back on with a stick, true a wheel with a rock, or fix your chain with a nail? Well, all that and more can be taught, to anyone. If you are mechanically inclined enough to change the batteries in your remote control, you can be taught to work on a bike.We will be kicking off this awesome series of classes with a “How to ride to work-or anywhere for that matter,” class on Sunday March 18th from 3-5:30pm. The next week, Sunday March 25th we are proud to offer a “How to fix your bike even if you don’t know a bottom bracket from a brake cable” class. Again 3-5:30pm.All classes are FREE but we have limited space. If you would like to attend, please RSVP with an email to bikerowaveclasses@gmail.com, with your name and the date you are attending in the subject line (that’s the bar that appears before the main body of the email) and we will save you a seat. Thanks, and remember, Bikerowave can always be contacted through our website bikerowave.org , or via phone, during business hours. We are located one block east of Centinella Ave on Venice Blvd in beautiful Mar Vista.
