Navigating the American Carbon World

2012 will be a momentous year. The world will be watching California as it launches its cap-and-trade program, which will be the first economy-wide program in the U.S. and the second largest carbon market in the world. Greater focus will be placed on linkages between international programs and what they can accomplish together. And, more companies will be taking actions to voluntarily reduce the impact of their emissions or to prepare for compliance.

Even in the absence of federal action, there is significant movement on state, regional and corporate levels, and these topics will be covered in depth at Navigating the American Carbon World (NACW) 2012. For the last nine years, NACW has been known as the most trusted and reliable event for getting updates and insights into climate policy and carbon market information. The event features the most forward-thinking minds that are driving action to address global climate change. And, because of the depth and diversity of its delegates, who represent business, NGOs, academia and government agencies, it is known as the single best place for networking and collaborating. For all of these reasons – and more – NACW has earned the reputation of being the industry’s most valuable and anticipated carbon event.
