‘Our Community, Our Family, Our Streets’ Planning School with Pacoima Beautiful
Pacoima Beautiful is working on a project to make our community more safe, comfortable, and fun for everyone, especially those who walk, bike, and take buses. In Pacoima, families work hard but don’t have a lot of money, and one of every three adults walk, bike or take buses – so it’s important that people be able to get to parks easily so they have the opportunity to relax, exercise, have fun! Join us and become a member! Help us change our community by learning, participating
in fun events and trainings, and making your voice heard!
Every second (2nd) and fourth (4th) Tuesday of the month from January into July, Pacoima Beautiful will host a special workshop series and resident committee to promote community leadership of the planning process. Sign up now to get the skills and info you need to make your voice heard!
Are you excited about making Pacoima healthier, safer, more fun and attractive? Do you walk, bike, or take transit?
May 10, May 24, June 14 and June 28
We’ll have trainings on cyclist and pedestrian rights and safety, and an intro to bike mechanics! Learn about healthy eating and food access issues, waste diversion and the local eco-system. Find out who to call when you have an issue with our local power analysis!
Email Bonnie or Lauren for more information or call us at (818) 899 – 2454. You can also download our flyer in English and Spanish.
